New communication devices for hire

Our Equipment Hire Service has a range of equipment available for hire to support communication device trials required to apply for Community Aids and Equipment Program (CAEP) or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding.
Through the CAEP AAC Consultancy and Refurbishment program run by the ILC, we now have the following devices available for demonstration and hire:
TobiiDynavox I15+
These devices are available with TobiiDynavox Communicator 5 or Compass communication software for trial, along with Look to Learn eyegaze games software. Visit NED here for further information about the I15+
Windows Surface Pro
These devices are packaged with a Tobii Dynavox EyeMobile Mini and an IR adapter allowing for eyegaze access and environmental controls. These devices have TobiiDynavox Communicator 5 communication software. Visit LinkAssistive’s website here for further information about this system
Indi
Indi is a new device from Tobii Dynavox featuring new software Snap + Core First. Visit NED here for further information about the Indi
NuPoint Head Pointing
An alternative to eyegaze and other access methods, the pointer system uses a sensor to track head movement. NuPoint is available for the Accent device range. Visit Liberator’s website here for further information about the NuPoint
