Do you care for someone living with mental health needs?

The ILC Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre (CRCC) is running a project in Perth’s northern suburbs to identify the Assistive Equipment and Technology needs of carers of people living with mental health illness.

Carers’ involvement in this short survey would be greatly appreciated. This will help shape future Assistive Equipment and Technology services to better support carers in Perth’s northern suburbs. People who complete the survey will be entered in the draw to win a $40 gift voucher.

Occupational Therapist Marti Peach is also providing the opportunity to meet in a friendly environment where carers can voice their needs and experience around using Assistive Equipment and Technology in their caring role.

If you would like to use this opportunity to gain more information around a piece of equipment or app to make your everyday life easier, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Marti by phone on 1800 052 222 or by email at

Any carer who offers their time on a one on one basis will be thanked with a $40 gift voucher of their choice.

I thank ILC for helping me out for respite for my son who is with mental health. We had our first break 18 month ago and our son has been home with myself and his dad for 20 yrs ILC were able to help with funding and we were able to chose Sun Flower in Wanerroo and he is very happy to stay as they provide 24hour care which I would recommend. More funding would be helpful if it was available more often through out the year.ILC is a great service.Rose.
