ACSWA & ILC WA Symposium Improving Outcomers thorugh Equipment & TechnologyTechnology and equipment has enormous potential to support and improve the lives of older people. Keeping up with what is available and what is new can be time consuming.

Aged & Community Services WA (ACSWA) and Independent Living Centre WA (ILC) invite you to a full day symposium where you can hear how equipment and technology can make a real difference to the lives of people you support.

Being held on Thursday 19 May from 9am to 4pm at the ILC in Nedlands, the symposium will offer a fantastic range of speakers and concurrent sessions, exhibitors demonstrating products for organisations and consumers, and an opportunity to touch, feel and explore new equipment. Learn how to provide more integrated, flexible and person centred services and discover how technology can engage and enhance wellness for older people.

This event will be of interest to managers and coordinators in community residential or retirement living, health professionals, allied health professionals, technical support officers / consultants, carers, regional assessment centre employees and ACAT teams.

Call for Abstracts

ACSWA and the ILC invite submissions for presentations at this exciting symposium.

We are seeking papers that will challenge, inspire and provide participants with opportunities to return to their work places with new ideas and practical strategies to support consumer outcomes through the use of technology across a broad range of areas. Feel free to invite consumers into your presentations to reveal the practical aspects of your theme.

Abstract submissions should be no more than 250 words in length. All speakers will receive a free registration to the event.

We are seeking a major sponsor and/or exhibitors for the Technology Symposium and Showcase which will provide an opportunity to attract new customers, contacts and business development.
