ILC Training- Offering new and relevant training

It has been over 12 months since the new ILC Training area was launched. Over this time, ILC has been able to offer a range of new, interesting and diverse training topics that are relevant to the health, disability and community care sectors. We continue to deliver our core range of professional training sessions in the area of assistive technology and equipment, as well as community information sessions for various client and carer groups.

To grow the range of training that ILC can offer; staying up to date with trends, changes and reform in our sectors is important and ensures we are able to deliver training that is relevant and timely. Examples include our upcoming Allied Health Leadership and Development Course, “The Practice Room”, a 2 day course to develop leadership skills in local WA allied health practitioners in a time of so much change in the disability sector. Assisting the sector to stay up to date with emerging technology is an important part of ILC’s role. We are looking forward to hosting Kevin Doughty, an international speaker on Smart Assistive Technology, who will share information on a range of assistive technology, how AT is changing and will highlight other international projects in the assistive technology area.

September is looking to be a busy month in ILC Training. We have a range workshops available.
